The UPVC Single Union Ball Check Valve is an efficient, low-maintenance backflow prevention valve that utilizes a free-floating spherical ball mechanism to seal against reverse liquid flow. Designed with a single union disconnect end, it offers easy access to internal components while maintaining a compact, cost-effective body profile. As forward flow enters the valve, it lifts the free-floating ball off its seat, creating a clean, full-port flow path. When flow stops or reverses, gravity and back-pressure push the ball back into its elastomeric seat, creating a positive, leak-proof seal. The absence of internal metal springs makes this valve an ideal choice for aggressive chemical lines where metal components would rapidly corrode.
