Formulated with high-grade synthetic polymer resins dissolved in active, fast-evaporating solvents, these chemical adhesives work through true solvent welding—softening and fusing the contact surfaces of plastic pipes and fittings into a seamless, monolithic joint. Upon curing, the solvent-welded bond exhibits mechanical strength and chemical resistance equal to or exceeding that of the pipe material itself.
