Our CPVC Single Union Ball Check Valve is an elevated-temperature backflow prevention valve that uses a free-floating spherical ball mechanism to seal against reverse fluid flow. Engineered for high-temperature chemical process lines operating up to 93°C (200°F), it prevents fluid reversal without utilizing internal metal springs that could corrode or fail. As forward hot liquid enters, it lifts the ball off its seat, creating an unrestricted full-port flow path. When flow stops or reverses, gravity and back-pressure drive the ball into its elastomeric seat for a positive seal. The single union disconnect end provides easy inline access to the internal ball chamber for quick inspection and cleaning.
