The CPVC Single Union Foot Valve is a specialized pump suction check valve and strainer assembly engineered to maintain system prime in high-temperature chemical intake lines. Installed at the bottom terminus of pump suction risers, it prevents fluid from draining back when pumps shut down, ensuring immediate pump repriming upon restart. Built from heavy-walled CPVC resin rated up to 93°C (200°F), it features an integrated bottom strainer screen that traps debris and suspended solids before they can reach sensitive pump impellers. The single union connection allows quick disconnection of the valve and strainer unit for cleaning without disturbing suction piping.
