The UPVC Swing Check Valve is an inline backflow prevention valve featuring a free-swinging internal flap disc designed for high-volume, low-velocity piping systems. Operating automatically on fluid velocity and gravity, the internal disc swings open fully as forward flow begins, creating an unrestricted, full-bore flow path with minimal pressure drop. When forward flow ceases, the weighted disc swings back onto its angled seat, preventing backflow and water hammer. Manufactured from heavy-walled UPVC with non-metallic or titanium pin hardware, it offers exceptional resistance to aggressive chemicals, making it an ideal backflow protection choice for large-diameter chemical process loops.
