The PPH Flap Type Foot Valve is a high-volume pump suction valve featuring a hinged swing-flap mechanism and an integrated inlet strainer screen, engineered for aggressive hot chemical suction applications. Designed to operate under minimal forward suction head, the hinged flap opens wide to provide maximum fluid passage with low resistance. Installed at the bottom of pump intake lines, it seals tightly under static liquid head to hold pump prime during shutdown cycles. Constructed entirely from β-modified PPH resin rated up to 100°C, it resists aggressive chemicals, scaling, and bio-fouling, offering long-term reliability in submerged chemical environments.
