Industrial UPVC Y-Type Strainers

Features

The Industrial UPVC Y-Type Strainer is a critical inline protection device engineered to safeguard expensive downstream equipment—such as pumps, control valves, flow meters, spray nozzles, and heat exchangers—by mechanically filtering out suspended solids, dirt, debris, and pipe scale from liquid streams. Designed with a streamlined "Y" configuration, this strainer channels fluid through a removable perforated screen basket made of corrosion-resistant UPVC or stainless steel mesh, trapping particulate matter while maintaining high flow capacity and minimal pressure drop. The ergonomic Y-body features a quick-access hex cap with an integrated O-ring seal, allowing maintenance technicians to flush trapped debris or replace screen elements quickly without removing the strainer body from the pipeline. Completely immune to chemical attack, rust, and scale formation, it is an essential component for ultrapure water processing, chemical distribution, and industrial filtration skids.

Technical & Design Advantages:

Low Pressure Drop Y-Body Geometry: Hydrodynamically optimized flow path maximizes screen surface area, reducing internal fluid friction and power loss across the strainer body.

Chemical-Resistant Filter Elements: Available with heavy-duty UPVC or high-grade stainless steel filter screens to accommodate a wide range of chemical media and filtration micron ratings.

Quick-Access Cleanout Cap: Heavy threaded hex cap allows rapid screen removal, flushing, and maintenance with minimal system downtime.

Full Chemical & Acid Immunity: All-plastic body structure eliminates corrosion, metallic ion leaching, and chemical oxidation, protecting fluid purity in sensitive applications.
