CPVC Pipe Unions

Features

The CPVC Pipe Union is an indispensable three-piece quick-disassembly fitting engineered to provide a modular, non-destructive disconnect point within permanent elevated-temperature CPVC piping runs. Designed for seamless integration around pumps, flow meters, heat exchangers, and inline filter housings, this fitting permits rapid isolation and removal of connected mechanical equipment for routine maintenance, cleaning, or replacement without cutting into adjacent pipe lines. The union assembly consists of two socket ends, a heavy threaded union nut, and a precision-grooved rubber O-ring seal. Constructed with heavy-wall industrial CPVC and precision-machined buttress threads, the union nut delivers high axial clamping force to compress the internal O-ring, creating a 100% bubble-tight seal that resists continuous line pressure, severe thermal cycling (up to 93°C / 200°F), and mechanical vibration over decades of continuous operation.

Technical & Design Advantages:

Quick Non-Destructive Disconnect: Three-piece threaded design enables rapid pipe separation using standard hand tools, saving hours of maintenance downtime during equipment overhauls.

Resilient O-Ring Face Seal: High-grade elastomeric O-ring seated in a precision machined groove provides a pressure-tight, vibration-resistant seal that holds tight under fluctuating thermal loads.

Full-Port Unrestricted Flow: Smooth internal bore matches standard pipe inner dimensions, ensuring zero flow restriction, turbulence, or extra friction head loss across the joint.

High-Torque Buttress Threading: Molded heavy-duty threads accept high hand and wrench torque without stripping, jamming, or cross-threading during repeated disassembly cycles.
